These are the recent headlines from within our Motherland...

    January 23rd Release
      • January 23rd ~ Following a strong revival of regional governance this month and generosity of donating comrades, regional population has made at complete 180 degree turn. From December to January, our Motherland suffered a 20% loss in overall population. From January 1st to the 23rd, we have swung around and now stand at a 13% increase in population. This signals to all our comrades that TCB is not going anywhere, is of limitless potential, and will remain at the very center of the User-Created Regions and the Leftist World.
      • January 23rd ~ Elections for Central Committee of the Workers' Party of TCB have opened, beginning the first legislative elections in the history of our young People's Republic. 7 seats were available and 11 candidates stood forward with varying platforms and discussions, with an overall positive and in-depth campaign period that will set a very positive standard for future legislative campaigns. If you are a citizen on the forums and have not already, you are encouraged to vote within the next 36 hours: http://bloc.red/index.php?threads/vote-central-committee-election-7-votes.172/
      • January 23rd ~ The Foreign Ministry of the People's Republic of TCB has begun considerable work on creating a strong diplomatic network across the world. The Ministry opened a topic on January 20th for interested citizens to apply to become ambassadors as well as providing potential diplomats a short guide on what to expect from their assignments. Not only have those who were accepted been given important assignments and completed their applications processes, but the Ministry has begun work on the first Foreign Update in our Party's history.

Friends. Whilst it would be wrong of me to be demanding, to make requests, I would urge that if you are able to do so, and want to do so, donating stamps is a great way to contribute to the region and anyone who does so gets a huge appreciation from myself and I am sure the General Secretary and all of the Party.

I praise the leadership of the Diplomatic Corps and hope to see it grow and continue to forge ties and strengthen old bonds with our partners out in the wider world of NationStates, so thank you, and props to comrade General Zenny Winter for leading that effort.

I would like to give a final thank you to all the candidates who registered in the elections to the Central Committee, best of luck to all candidates. Remember if you are not elected, there are plenty of ways to contribute to the People's Republic.

    Long live the People's Republic!

    In service,

I agree completely with Aleksandr, not only are donations extremely appreciated, but key to the continued growth of the region. We not only have appreciation for donors, but also medals and honors.
