We need to fix the Law Index, and as much faith as I have in Greedoguy to execute the duties of Premier, I think we need to accept that the current scale of the problem - the disorganization and lack of up-to-date information in the Law Archives - is not something that we have the right to force onto any single person. I therefore propose the creation of a subcommittee of the Central Committee dedicated to retroactively updating the Law Archive, and assisting the Premier in continuing to keep it updated in the future. Thoughts? edit: a legal motion/mandate that we can vote on that has legal weight: Spoiler: thing Resolution for the Formation of an Archives Committee Article I: Structure The Archives Committee shall be a permanent subcommittee of the Central Committee, consisting of the Premier and a minimum of two other Central Committee members. The non-Premier members of the Archives Committee shall be appointed by the Premier as they see fit, and a Chair of the Archives Committee will be selected and approved by the members of the Archives Committee. The Premier may serve as the Chair, but is not required to. The Archives Committee is permitted to enact their own internal procedures as they see fit, but these must be in compliance with this Resolution, the Laws of the Communist Bloc, and the Constitution. Article II: Mandate The Archives Committee shall be tasked with the organization and management of the Law Index/Law Archives. At the beginning of each new Central Committee term, the Chair of the Archives Committee shall be responsible for drafting an agenda of assessments, updates, and reorganizations, to be met by the end of the term. It will be the purpose of the Archives Committee to meet the goals listed in said agenda. Article III: Enactment This resolution shall come into force upon passage of the Central Committee.
